A whisper and a squeak

There is little of interest to report since the last post I am sure you will be sad to hear. We have had Chinese New Year (Gong Xi Fa Chai!) and I spent most of it in KL enjoying a lack of activity after that splendid period often entitled mock examinations. Aside from that life has been mainly procrastination and, well, that’s about it really.

Instead of the usual picture I believe it would be more apt, and certainly more entertaining, to put up a recording of my voice at the moment. It sounds like a dying cat squealing as it loses its ninth life to a rabid mouse. Suffice it to say I have got a somewhat dodgy throat which is causing me to speak in something between a squeak and a whisper but never fear it’s not all bad news...the throat situation is providing my peers with plenty of entertainment.

For those who are enquiring after the Weber geographical status I believe, for once, everyone is in their proper place...this week anyway. I think mum is heading for a jaunt to Jakarta next week (golf and lunches, it’s a hard life) while dad is doing something work-related. I am, as always, stuck in Singapore doing productive things like watching season 3 of Doctor Who for the 5th time. Needless to say everything is just hunky dory.

Until next time! Toodle pip!
