We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo...
How about you, you, you?
You can come too, too, too.
Here are the pictures.
This duck was determined it could escape the confinements of the glass walls and come and attack us sitting quietly watching hippos (which didn't look particularly hungry thankfully).
The white tigers are by far the most impressive animals. You just want to go up and give 'em a big hug. Accept that you also don't want to be anywhere within claw range at the same time.
The sign told us to. It said, do you want to hop like a kangaroo? and we said, of coarse and it told us to stand on one leg and use your other as a 'tail' for balance. So we did. I don't think we are quite so good at it as the kangaroos though, and we did look rather silly hopping the path.
Pretty butterly.
A rather big and lazy turtle who was posing for the photos by turning his head from left to right and making sure we got his good side. Then when I put my camera away he went back to his slow and lazy munching. Quite sweet in a monstrously-big-and-slow-tourtoise kind of way.
Does this require a comment? No, I think it's best left alone.
Now if it's got spots in the middle of it's bigger spots it's a...everyone now...jaguar. See how clever we are?
This bird is what is commonly dubed as a show off. I reckon most animals in the zoo are. This one spent all it's time flapping it's wings and drawing attention to its self.

Walking down a little path Jasmine creeping catiously behind we were searching for life in the jungle. Then suddenly Jasmine lets out a little 'eek' and a particularly Jasmine-like fashion and Liz and I look ahead to where we are about to run into a monkey and an iguana. The iguana being a much more frightening prospect as we were about to run into it's tail and it just stares at us, daring us to take one more step before it pounces. Not that I think iguanas pounce much.
Finally, Liz and Jasmine with a bear somewhere behind them.
Yes. Yesterday was a trip to good old Singapore zoo. Below is a little video of a slow little turtle crawling down a little ledge.
That's it for exciting trips of the day. Join us next week for...Sentosa!
